How to install APK / APKS / OBB on Android
Install APK
On Android 8+
- Open the apps screen (swipe up/down on Home).
- Go to Settings → Apps → Special access.
- Tap Install unknown apps.
- Select your app (browser/files) and enable “Allow from this source”.
- Open the APK and confirm installation.
On Android 7 and lower
- Open Settings → Security (or Lock screen and security).
- Enable “Unknown sources”.
- Confirm the prompt and proceed to install the APK.
Install APKS (App Bundle)
- Install Split APKs Installer (SAI) from a trusted source.
- Open SAI → Install APKs.
- Select the APKS bundle and confirm.
- Wait until the installation completes.
Install OBB (Expansion files)
- Install the APK first.
- Navigate to
/Android/obb/in device storage. - Create a folder named with the app’s package, e.g.
/Android/obb/org.xbmc.kodi. - Extract and copy the OBB file(s) into that folder.
